Please pray for our cat Wednesday. Her ears have been bothering her for a long time also they get black stuff and a little red. She is always shaking her head and scratching her ears. We took her to the FMA Animal Hospital twice last week and Dr Alberti had her on Cerumene an ear cleaner and Betagen Otic Solution an antibiotic ear drop. The Cerumene turned her ears real red so he gave the Betagen to relieve the redness and prevent scratching. She is only using the Betagen now.Dr Alberti said that she may have a bacteria infection so if the stuff he gave us does not help he'll have to do a ear culture and sensitivity test to see what is causing the problem and how to treat it. Her left ear bothers her the most but her right ear started getting black stuff in it about a week ago.He also said that if she scratches her ears too much it could cause a hematoma. Lord we pray that this doen't happen and that she doesn't have any hearing loss. We also pray that the medecine won't hurt her.

we called the vet earlier today and told him the Cerumene was getting my cat wednesday's ears red and sore and that we had discontinued the Cerumene yesterday. He told us to continue the Betagen Otic antibiotic as we have been doing, but only once a day and call him back tomorrow and let him know how her ear looks.we noticed later on today when we were applying the antibiotic in her left ear that she had some hair loss on the back of her ear. We called the vet back and was told to apply some of the antibiotic to the back of her left ear and to call him back tomorrow. Please pray for my cat Wednesday for God to completely heal her ears.

We took our cat Wednesday back to the vet today and he said that redness in the left ear and hair loss may have been caused by an alergic reaction to the Cerumene, Betagen or a combination of the two. We know that the Cerumene did cause her ears to turn red. Dr Alberti now has us putting pure hydrocortisone inside and on the back of her ears. He told us to call him back Monday and let him know how her ears are looking. Please continue to pray for her complete healing.

While we were cleaning our cat Wednesday's ears today we noticed a prick in the crevices of her left ear. The prick mark was bleeding a little bit. It may be an allergic reaction to the hydrocortisone or just sore from the Q-tips we use to clean her ears and apply the hydrocortisone to them. We believe that the Q-tips are what caused it. Please pray that this is all it is and that it is not something worse. We will try to be more gentle when we use the Q-tips the next time. We have not spoke to the vet about this yet, we will call him on Monday 9-3-07.

We took Wednesday back to the vet today and he said she may have a skin irritation which can be harder to treat. He told us to continue putting the hydrocortisone [Triamcinolone Acetonide Ointment] in her ears once a day and he also gave us some cortisone pills called temaril-p to also give her once a day. He told us to call him back on Wednesday 9-12-07 and let him know if this helps. If it doesn't help he may have to sedate her and inject hydrocortisone in the area and do an ear scraping. Please pray that all goes well and pray for Wednesday's complete healing. Also pray for Dr Alberti and his family. we had been trying to get ahold of him all week but was not able to until today because his Aunt is in the hospital dying and he has been going back and forth to see her.

We were not able to get her to take the temaril-p this morning. We put it in one of her favorite flavors of fancy feast can food but she took one bite and refused to eat any more. We will try to give her the medicine tomorrow mixed in some tuna, we will let you know how it goes.

We took Wednesday back to the vet and he gave her a hydrocortisone shot and said her ears were looking pretty good. He told us to call him in two weeks to let him know how she is doing and see if she needs to be seen again.

Today we noticed that our cat Wednesday had a small lump under the skin between her shoulder blades around the spot where she had the hydrocortisone shot a couple weeks ago. We called the vet's office and talked to the vet tech. She said it was probably just a reaction to the shot. That some of the hydrocortisone may have got between the skin and caused a build up and it should go down. Please pray that this is all it is and not something more serious.

Grandma went to her Doctor last Wednesday August 22, 2007. And he changed her medicines back to the ones he already had her on the only new medicine she is currently on is Plavix for her blood to prevent blood clots. PRAISE GOD! that she has been feeling much better. The Home Health nurse came out to check on her today and said that she was doing really good. Please continue to pray for her complete recovery and the bad itch that she is still having.
P.s. That she will soon get back to her normal self and that she will not feel as punk as she usually does.
